Volunteer at the 2024 Night to Shine

Night to Shine relies on the incredible support of volunteers, and the 2024 event will be powered by a dedicated team of over 500 volunteers! Discover additional details below and sign up today!

Serve Teams

  • Accompany and assist guests throughout the evening, providing companionship and assistance. Sit with your guest during dinner and engage with them. Buddy's must be at least 16 years old.

  • Maintain a parking pattern and direct traffic for easy vehicle entry and exit.

  • Welcome each guest to the salon station for hair and makeup! Pamper them and make them feel special while lightly applying makeup and hair touches.

  • Assist with unloading food, additional food preparation for delivery to the guests, and set up beverages in the main event space and respite area.

  • Serve food and drinks to guests at their tables.

  • Help pass out crowns and tiaras to honored guests. Arrange gifts and help guests collect their gift bags to take home.

  • Assist in placing corsages and boutonnieres on guests. Greet, take guests’ coats, label them, and help ensure guests are safe.

  • Cheer on our honored guests as they make their way down the red carpet.

  • Oversee and manage guest activities, which include karaoke, the dance floor, limos, the photo booth, while ensuring the safety of all guests.

  • Engage with guests who are dealing with overstimulation and participate in sensory activities with them.

  • Just like it sounds. Setup and teardown decorations, equipment, tables, chairs, etc., before and/or after the event.

  • Reach out to local businesses, organizations, and foundations to explore opportunities for corporate sponsorship and contributions.

  • Show support and care for parents and caretakers by offering them dinner, spending quality time with them, and being ready to assist with their needs.

  • Prepared and willing to step in and assist wherever needed most! Open to various roles, such as the buddy team, check-in, creating red carpet hype, or helping with food service.
